potential spot to play... Wallingford

Posted on May 24, 2010 at 12:29pm 12 Comments

Guys, here is a link to some pictures of the Wallingford location that I have mentioned a few times. I finally got around to taking some pics of it. High fence on 2 sides, building on third side, park on fourth side. Fresh coat of asphalt this past weekend for an extra smooth and flat surface. Could be a decent option?…

Pulled a Crosby... I'm missing my stick

Posted on May 7, 2010 at 1:16pm 6 Comments

Ok, so I haven't been out at street hockey since the vegas tournament, and I'm missing my stick. It was sent home with Rob on the plane after the tournament, and he mentioned that he dumped a bunch of gear a couple of saturdays ago. He recalls thinking he saw my stick there. Does anyone have it or know of it's whereabouts? I know, it's my fault for not getting it sooner, but it would be great if i didn't have to get a new one, since the blade is brand new.

Anyway, I'll be out… Continue

Canadian Passport Renewal while in U.S.

Posted on February 18, 2010 at 4:27pm 2 Comments

Hey everyone...

my passport is up for renewal in June and am wondering if any of you have had to renew your CDN passports while living in the U.S. If so, did it have an effect on visa status, etc. and did you have to go to Canada to do it or could you do it somewhere in Seattle?

Thought I'd check to see if anyone has gone through this before figuring it out on my own... any help/suggestions are appreciated.

Hey Geoff,

Checked out your photography at Fuel last weekend. Nice showing! I don't know a lot about photography as an art form, but I can appreciate good compositions. The colors were wonderfully rich as well. The write-up about your work and your bio was well done too. I would've liked to known what you shot those pics with. The price point was totally accessible too. Most comparable work I see is outrageou$. So were you being humble setting those prices, or hoping to achieve volume buys? My favorite, easily, was Rachel and Coffee. Loved it. On another note, I noticed that some of the photos started slipping from their mattes. Maybe I should have emailed you that over the weekend?

Anyway, I'm passionate about art and artists. Even more passionate about artists that actively make art, and even more than that, those who have the courage to display it. Thanks for sharing. I struggle with having the nuts to bang out some work of my own. Knowing you as little as I do, knowing that you bring some serious skill to Saturday street hockey, I was blown away by you being an artist. It's inspiring.
